Prof. Mlind Deo  Named to New Position at Energy & Geoscience Institute

The University of Utah’s Vice President for Research recently announced that MUSE’s Milind Deo, who is currently the Peter D. and Catherine R. Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been named as a Special Assistant to support the Energy & Geoscience Institute’s (EGI) academic mission and operations. EGI is a premier University of Utah research institute with a successful history of conducting industry and government sponsored research in three core areas of study – hydrocarbons, geothermal energy and carbon management. With the continued expansion and diversification of the energy landscape, EGI is looking to reinvigorate its mission as it connects to the broader academic community on campus.
